The U.S. Border Patrol chief testified on Thursday that the migrants from 52 countries to illegally cross the border this year, as she described, an ” Agency “overwhelmed, on a daily basis” due to the worsening of the crisis.
“While the smugglers, especially in the Northern triangle, family units exceeded from 52 countries illegally the southern border, U.S. Border Patrol Chief Carla Provost said this year so far,” the House Homeland Security Border Security, facilitation and Operations Subcommittee.

Your testimony points to the increasingly international character of the migration flows, and strike against the US border, still further to complicate efforts to remove those without a valid asylum claims. Provost told the legislators that the numbers from Africa have also increased.
“In just two weeks, more than 740 people from African Nations – especially the family — were arrested in the Del Rio sector alone, compared to only 108, the said over the southern border in the first eight months of the fiscal year,” she said.
She went on to say that families from countries such as Brazil, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Peru, Romania and Vietnam are under the same way as migrants from Central America and taking advantage of loopholes in the US system. Earlier in her address, Provost said, that they had to move to 40-60 percent of the work force away from the border to process and care for almost 435,000 families and children that traveled across the border this year.

She said that to cope you have to fight with large groups of migrants of more than 100 at a time are on the road to the border at once.
“With 193 of these great groups so far this year, our operations will now be overrun on a daily basis,” she said.
Later, during questioning from Rep.-Michael guest, R-Miss., You said that drugs take advantage of the smugglers “” the chaos at the border to funnel drugs into the USA
“They are a great group of people, and then, while my agents are distracted with this, run narcotics in other areas and this is a tactic they use,” she said.
The testimony came as Fox News reported that hundreds of illegal immigrants trying to cross the border, as a part of the massive migrant caravans were found to have criminal histories in the United States

Department of Homeland Security documents provided to House Oversight Committee Republicans included internal data show more than 1,000 migrants who travel as a part of the caravan up to the border in the past nine months, the U.S. criminal stories” had, and had convictions of hundreds of “US.”
The files detailed migrants caravan of almost 8,000 people that started out in the direction of the border in October 2018, and came to the South of California until December. According to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), 660 of them in the U.S. criminal convictions had—with 40 condemned because of bodily injury or serious bodily injury with a deadly weapon, and the three of the murder transferred.
