Ill Charles Bradley cancels tour
Charles Bradley (68) has all of his scheduled concerts cancelled, because he should be treated for liver cancer. The soulzanger would be in december for five concerts coming to the Netherlands.
Bradley was last year diagnosed with stomach cancer and underwent a treatment. During his tour the past few weeks, the singer found out that the cancer is also found in his liver.
The soulzanger says, according to Rolling Stone in a statement: “I love all of you, you are my dream come true. When I come back, I will, with God’s love, stronger than ever. And with God’s will, I shall soon be back.”
Bradley canceled 37 concerts, including the concerts in the Dutch venues Paradiso (5 december), Sleeping beauty (6 december), Rotterdam (december 8), Tilburg, the netherlands (9 december) and Groningen (10 december).
The singer started his career in the sixties, but knew for a long time not to achieve success. For the most part of life drew Bradley poor and unemployed by the United States. When he was Gabriel Roth, co-founder of the record label Daptone Records, and producer Tom Brenneck met, the tide turned. The soulzanger released several successful albums and toured the world with his music.
