Rep. Ilhan Omar shows your support for Sen. Sanders at a rally at the University of Minnesota.

Amid repeated chants of “Lock him up!” and “Green New Deal”,” Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn repeated., a full-throated endorsement of Bernie Sanders in a spirited night full rally in Minneapolis Northrop Auditorium on Sunday, namely, a “mass movement of the working class” exhibited will be required to take down the ” President Trump and the end of “Western imperialism”, as you put it.

“I am thrilled to run for President Bernie Sanders!” Omar thundered on the completion of their notes, how to play rock music began.

At no time did either Omar or Sanders to stop participants from screaming “Lock him up”, when Trump was called. Last year, CNBC’s John Harwood predicted that “every serious candidate of the Democrats, a point” such songs.

Omar’s endorsement was a break from the rest of the state delegation to the Democrats, Sen. Amy Klobuchar presidential run. It is also a youthful shot in the arm for Sanders’ left-wing campaign, which has remained in competition with rivals Joe Biden and Elizabeth Warren.

“Here in Minnesota that we not only refugees welcome-we sent them to Congress,” said Omar applause. “Now that the universal dream feels more reach than ever in my life.”

Then, pointedly, the name refused to mention the President of Trump’s, Omar continued: “The current occupant of the White house likes to talk about making America great. But, every action and almost every word out of his mouth is an attack on the values and ideals that make this country a beacon of hope for me and the people around the world.”

Later, not to mention still without the President’s name, Omar falsely claimed that Trump called neo-Nazis, “very fine people” – a proposal that the White house officials has been emphasised repeatedly taken out of context. And, in allusion to the “send them back” chant, the rally due to a broken trump-earlier this year, Omar remarked, “None of us go back. We are here to stay.”

Even as she accused trump of “coddling” white superiority, Umar insisted that Sanders’ were not proposals-including free government-sponsored health care for all, even illegal immigrants — so “radical.”

“These are values enshrined in the universal Declaration of human rights for decades,” Omar claims, refers to the document of the United Nations. “But, here is the cold truth: We can’t achieve these goals if we do not build a movement, the representative of all our hopes, all our pain and all our collective trauma.”

Omar also appeared their decision to vote to defend “present” on a resolution in the Congress the recognition of the Armenian genocide, which is to say, there is an effort to combat the use of genocide was selectively as a political football.

Sanders was assisted by other members of the so-called progressive “squad” of Democrats, including New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib. To not support (the only member of the “team,” Sanders Massachusetts Rep. Ayanna Pressley is.)

Days before the endorsements were announced, the longtime Vermont senator suffered a heart attack on Oct. 1, prompting fears that his health problems could derail his presidential ambitions.

Sanders was in the arena by a lively student who complained that students “currently” in the debt. The student admitted that he personally had a lot of debt, but very much feeling the pain of those.

Under the microphone, Sanders, Omar praised as an “exceptional woman that was 30 years ago in a refugee camp in Kenya.”

“Thank you, Ilhan Omar,” Sanders said, his voice cracking.

Then he unloaded a series of superlatives, punctuated by audible boos. “It gives me no joy, you go and tell everyone what they already know: that today, tragically, we have a President of the United States, is a pathological liar — who is the most corrupt administration in history, who has the justice disabled, the office for personal gain, which threatened to hold back, the national security resources from an ally in order to improve his political chances.”

Before the call to trump, the noted racist, sexist, fanatical, homophobic, Sanders, “This is a President who is accused of deserves it, and is accused of.”

As the crowd broke into a “Lock him up” chant, Sanders stepped up to the microphone and try not to interrupt. But, minutes later, Sanders appeared to call for an end to the separation of reading from his prepared remarks.

“We are going to do exactly the opposite of what to do is the trump card,” he said. “He is trying to split us up. We bring together our people are… an agenda for all the works of us, not just the one percent.”

“People say that Ilhan and I make an odd political couple. But in fact, there is nothing more to really strange at all about it,” Sanders. “Ilhan and I share a common connection, such as the descendants of families who had fled the violence and poverty, and who came to this country as immigrants. But this is not just my story or Ilhan history is the history of America.”

He also said that he and Omar were both working to eliminate “all student loans in America”, and free to ask all public institutions of higher education “tuition fees.”
