More than 100 goats were definitely not kidding around when they broke out of their corral and down in a quiet neighborhood of Boise Friday morning โ€“ eat all the weeds and grass in their path to their heart’s content.

The 118 goats were reportedly held in a fence near a retention pond and in the service we Rent Goats, a company with which the animals of the farm can be rented for the care of the brush, weeds, or other yardwork, the Idaho Statesman reported.

But sometime on Friday morning, the tribe reportedly decided to make a break for it and broke through the boards of the fence โ€“ start on their journey.

Kim Gabica, who is the owner of We Rent Goats, along with Matt Gabica, told the Statesman that goats are creatures that follow.

“Goats are great escape artists, and I think they decided to go on an adventure today,” she said. “It is rare that this many would go, but they would definitely follow each other.”

According to KTVB-TV, animal control initially responded to calls about the rogue goats with a truck, but that was not enough to do the trick. We Rent Goats finally came to the rescue with a larger vehicle and shepherded the goats from the neighborhood.

All of the escaped goats have now been booked, but not before KTVB said they did a number on their new hosts’ lawns, the strip of the leaves of the trees, and dig through the landscaping.

But the goats have their time in the sun; they have since gone viral online and many of the children in the neighborhood got the chance to take pictures and hang out in the makeshift petting zoo.

I just want to come out and say that I support the #Boise goats. I support their cause. I support their mission. And I wish them continued success.
