Ice-T calls on Amazon after he ‘almost shot’, one of the drivers

Ice-T has a suggestion for Amazon.

On Tuesday, the rapper-actor took to Twitter to explain an incident that happened in his house Monday night in which one of the e-commerce giant’s truck drivers.

The 61-year-old star says that he “almost shot” an Amazon courier who was delivering a package in place on Monday because the individual is not wearing a uniform.

“Message To Amazon: Now that you regular people make of your home deliveries … maybe they should wear a Vest with an AMAZON DELIVERY. … I almost shot a MF up crawling into my bed last night…. Just say,” Ice-T said.

In a separate post, a social media user asked Ice-T if the driver was wearing a uniform. His answer? Again, no.

“No. They don’t wear A uniform. Just ordinary people workin,” he noted for clarification that he is not angry with them.”

“Just sayin. That s–t ain ‘ t safe..,” he added.

In response to Ice-T’s tweet, Amazon’s vice president of operations, Dave Clark, wrote back: “Just sayin … thanks for the suggestion. We MF’ing love you and our drivers.”

“A lot of innovations to come on this, and many that already exist to help you keep track of your package and the delivery on a map,” he added, referring to the company Card Tracking function. “Thank you for a customer.”
