ICE-officials say Oakland mayor put lives in danger

Head of ICE enforcement and removal blasts mayor Libby Schaaf to announce the decision, raids; Claudia Cowan rides along with Federal immigration agents who try to enforce the law.

Federal immigration officials, more than 150 people have been arrested in violation of the Federal U.S. immigration law in Northern California this week, despite the Oakland mayor warning of an impending RAID.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) made the arrests in the San Francisco Bay Area starting Sunday as part of a “targeted immigration enforcement operations,” the Agency told Fox News on Tuesday.


About half of the detained, the officers of deportation convictions for assault, crimes against children, weapons charges and DUI, according to the Agency.

ICE marked the arrest of a fugitive by the Federal Agency, in particular, the officials stated, is a documented gang member.

Homan believes that deprive Schaaf’s warning aided those illegal immigrants to the law enforcement.
