Ian Ziering and his wife Erin Ludwig called it quits after nine years of marriage.
The “Beverly Hills, 90210” star shared the news on social media on Thursday and explained to him that the couple-who married in May of 2010 — grew apart.
“It is with a heavy heart that I tell you of It, and I will have to split up,” Ziering said. “With our hectic schedules, we have become busier, and over the years grew apart.”

“It is one of the most beautiful women I have ever met and the best mother to our children,” said he, and with whom he shares two daughters.
Ziering, 55, has said anything attributed to him outside of his social-media-and-loss statement is simply not true.

“It has come to my attention that there are things that are written, and told her the situation, and that just isn’t very exciting,” he said. “Any quote attributed to me is completely false and intended by that to undermine our commitment to continue to live together, in order to protect the education of our daughters, and some examples of successful co-parents.
“All we ask is that you have a look at our privacy during this difficult time as we focus on what is important to us and our girls. Peace and love, Ian,” the actor said.

This is the second marriage for Ziering. He was previously married to Nikki Schieler Ziering. They divorced in 2002.
