Huub Stapel plays play Pinkpop in wheelchair by tear in the tendon
Huub Stapel is going to be starring in the play the Pinkpop festival, play in a wheelchair. The actor has at the end of 2016 a tendon in his thigh torn off, and must to twelve months to recover.
The script Pinkpop is specially adapted.
Initially it was thought that Stack in six weeks could repair it, but after further investigation it turned out that the injury was more serious than thought.
Stack played the last months, the paralyzed protagonist in the theaterversie of Intouchables, in which he also was in a wheelchair. “I had not imagined that on december 23, my quadricepspees would tear and I really in a wheelchair would end up,” says Stack.
At the beginning of december it became known that Stack in Pinkpop a man who lost his memory lost would play. Henriëtte Tol is playing the role of his childhood sweetheart, who gave him stories to tell in the hope that his memories and their love, to keep alive.
The Limburg band Rowwen Hèze is writing new music and playing live during the performance, Pinkpop festival. The premiere is on april 8, in theater De Maaspoort in Venlo. Then follows until the 24th of June a national tour that ends in the Stadsschouwburg Utrecht.
