Hundreds of thousands on the flight by floods in China
Hundreds of thousands of people have Monday in the south of China, their houses must be vacated by flooding as a result of heavy rainfall.
At least 33 people were killed, fifteen people apply as missing.
The water levels in more than sixty rivers state, according to the Chinese authorities at an alarming high level. The hardest hit is the southern province of Hunan. In the capital, flooded houses, were trees uprooted and ran roads under water.
Except Hunan have also provinces like Hubei, Anhui, Sichuan and Guizhou suffer from the abundant rainfall in the rainy season, which last month began. Crops are damaged, the electricity is in some places faulty.
The north of China, including the capital Beijing, is struggling in the meantime with a heatwave and drought.
Except China is also neighbouring Nepal affected by the moessonregen. By landslides and floods were at least nine people were killed.
