More than 590 of Google employees refuse to be “complicit” in a potential-of-cloud-computing work for the tech giant can do for the U. s. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
In a petition posted on a Wednesday, and the Media, the workers said that the AUTHORITY, together with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), is the bridge to adverse consequences for the asylum seekers, the separation of children from their parents, and to the control of the faulty system.
After noting that the AUTHORITY is looking for vendors for a contract for the delivery of cloud-based services, and the Googlers will be prompted for the Mountain View, Calif., the company is preventive, committed, and in order to not have to work with the agency.
“It’s time to get up, and make it clear that we are not going to be working on such an agreement. We demand that Google publicly commit to not supporting the CBP, ICE or the ORR [Office of Refugee Resettlement], with the infrastructure, the financing and the technical means, whether directly or indirectly, to stop engaging in human rights abuses,” the petition stated.

Hundreds of Google employees have been demanding the company undertake not to make cloud computing work for the Customs and Border Protection.

The petition comes as the company is faced with several problems, from the inside out, with employees across the political spectrum in calling for some of its business decisions and practices.
The employees who signed the petition are in comparison to Google’s potential to work with the ICE-cream-IBM worked with the Nazis during the second world War.
“In working with the CBP, ICE cream, or, “ORR”, ” Google could be the trade of the debtor to make a little profit, and the joining of a people’s ancestry,” the petition stated. “We have to do is look at IBM’s role in working with the Nazi’s during the Holocaust in order to understand the role that technology can play in the automation of mass atrocity.”
The tech-giant, led by CEO, Sundar Pichai has been changed after an employee’s difference of opinion as to a certain number of times in the past year or so. This past summer, after a backlash from employees, Google has decided not to renew its contract with the Pentagon for the Project, Maven, which is engaged drone targets with artificial intelligence.

In July, Google declared that it would not proceed with a censored Chinese search engine, which is called Dragonfly, after employees aired their grievances, as well as lawmakers grilled company exectives about it.
Fox News has not reached Google for comment.
