Hundreds of demonstrators arrested in Congo
The Congolese police has Tuesday and Wednesday 275 people arrested during protests against president Joseph Kabila.
Earlier, police had already reported that the riots, the lives have required of at least 21 civilians and one security employee.
According to human rights organisations, is the death toll higher. An observer from Human Rights Watch reported that only in the capital, Kinshasa 26 demonstrators were shot dead by the security forces of Kabila.
The demonstrators demand the departure of Kabila, since his mandate is over. According to the government, can only be in 2018, new presidential elections to be organised due to financial and logistical problems.
