Hayden Williams, 26, who was attacked while helping recruit conservatives at U-C Berkeley, told Fox News that the places of higher education are aggressive, hostile to the diversity of thought.

“I can tell you first hand, over the past few months I have to do this, and this is a very disturbing trend at several universities in the entire country,” he said Monday on “The Todd Starnes Show” about the xenophobia that conservatives are experienced on college campuses.
Two men last Tuesday to his table at the University of California, Berkeley, where the activist was recruiting members for the conservative group Turning point united states, although he is not a member of itself. An argument ensued and Williams was holding his mobile phone and began filming the two men who allegedly torturing him.
One of the two men knocked on the table, police said, and then struck Williams multiple times, causing injuries to his face. Much of the incident was captured on a witness’ cell phone.
Berkeley police told Fox News Monday afternoon that there is no new information to report.

Williams, who is not a student, a field representative from the Leadership Institute, and in that role assists in the training and organizing of conservative students at universities across the country. He was invited by Turning point usa, who is in the midst of the creation of a chapter in Berkeley, to the man in the table on the plaza on campus.
Williams has reiterated that he will not be intimidated to keep quiet about his conservative views, and remain that way for a lawyer dedicated to the traditional standards and values.
