(Reuters) – Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. plans to shift away from the research center in Canada, the United States of america, ” Ren Zhengfei, founder of Chinese telecom equipment maker, said in an interview with the canadian Globe and Mail.

Ren’s comments came as Reuters reported on Friday that the United States is weighing an extension of the power to stop foreign shipments of products containing U.S. technology to the Smartphone. The U.s. Commerce Department, in May, placed the Smartphone on a trade, business, black, citing national security concerns.
