HTC plummets on the stock market after disappointing quarterly results

The share of techfabrikant HTC is scuttled, after the company disappointing quarterly results has been published.
HTC saw its share by more than 9 percent decline in the first five hours of the trading day. One share of stock is at the time of writing 62,20 Taiwanese dollar, the euro 1,74 euro.
The techbedrijf presented Friday after the close of trading new quarterly figures. Today was the first time with the shares could be traded. The stock exchange in Taiwan opened at 3:00 pm Dutch time.
From the results it appeared that the company in the last quarter, to 16.1 billion Taiwanese dollars (449 million euros) turnover, has turned. In the same quarter a year earlier was the sales higher, at 18.9 billion Taiwanese dollars.
HTC stresses that the revenue, compared with a quarter earlier, has increased by 11 percent. That is-according to the manufacturer by the appearance of the HTC U11, a new vlaggenschiptelefoon.
The company was loss less. In the past quarter was an operating loss of 2.2 billion Taiwanese dollars (61 million euros) are reported, but that was in 2016 is still 4.2 billion Taiwanese dollars.
