HTC brings this year’s wireless virtualrealitybril from
Taiwanese technologiefabrikant HTC comes this year with a wireless virtualrealitybril.
That left the finance director of the company, Chia-lin Chang know in an interview with website CNET.
“We have a good plan in regards to combining mobility with virtual reality,” says Chang.
Details about the upcoming product are missing for the time being, but according to the ceo of HTC is not simply a pair of glasses in which the user his or her phone in to slide, such as Googles Daydream View. However, the phone works together with the new smartphone from the company, the You Ultra.
Also confirmed Chang that the new product this year. More details in the coming months will be announced. HTC last year, was one of the first large companies that have a VR-glasses put on the market, the HTC Vive, a collaboration with gameontwikkelaar Valve.
That glasses is located in the most expensive segment of the market for virtualrealitybrillen and is only suitable for use in combination with a powerful computer. The wireless specs of HTC focuses on a different segment.
