Jessica Simpson’s trainer, revealed the secrets behind her 100-pound weight loss after the star gave birth to a daughter, Birdie Mae, six months ago.
Trainer, Harley Pasternak, says Simpson’s fit body, which she showed off on Tuesday at the end of the 39-year-old mother-of-three’s commitment to a more holistic view of post-baby lifestyle.
“It’s the difference between this one and the other one was a she, and yes, her transformation was more than what she did on her own time,” he told People. “They were so motivated and positive. She told me that her body belonged to her, and over the past decade. Not in a bad way, in a positive way, and her body is designated in order to live, and now it is back and she’s going to be fantastic in a really fun way.”

Pasternak says that he has worked with Dawn for 12 years, and helped her to her body back in shape after the birth of daughter Maxwell, 7, and son Ace, 6. However, he noted that, at this time it was harder and harder when she hit 240 pounds after a pregnancy that was fraught with sciatic pain, bronchitis, and swelling of the feet.
“This is kind of out of the total pregnant non-stop for a decade, and so we had a bit more of a challenge in between this one and the other,” he said, noting that in February, they called him just a few days after the birth.
Pasternak gave the film a five day to day tasks associated with the maintenance of its discipline, in its work, it has to disconnect from technology for an hour to sleep, eat healthy foods, and exercise.

However, he pointed out that, in spite of a dramatic 100-pound weight loss, Simpson’s time in the gym, it was only 45 minutes, three days a week.
“My mantra is that you have to lean to get on in life, and strong in the gym. Thus, the majority of the weight loss was really all she was doing outside of the gym, and then it’s all out in the gym, it is about toning and tightening,” he told People.
Simpson showed off her the results in an Instagram post on Tuesday, with a photo of herself rocking an all-black outfit.
“In 6 months. 100 pounds down (and Yes, I tipped the scales at 240 😜),” she wrote.

“My first trip to #BIRDIEMAE, and emotional, for many reasons, but also so excited to feel like me again,” Simpson said. Even when it felt impossible, I have to work harder. 💚”
