Florida Republican REP Greg Steube weighs in on the growing crisis on the southern border.
Rep. Greg Steube, R-Fla., said on Sunday that house Democrats are unlikely to work with President Trump on immigration and not the trump card to solve deadline to meet, the crisis on the border to Mexico.
Trump originally, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids announced, would begin in several major cities, with the aim of the arrest of thousands of illegal immigrants, but as before the operation at the last minute at the request of the Democrats in Congress. He then said on Saturday that he would give Congress two weeks to find a solution before he has to go the ICE the green light to.
“I was planning to in the Rose garden with the President, when he announced his immigration to and then hours later, speaker [Nancy] Pelosi said, it is dead on arrival,” Steube said Sunday on “America’s News HQ.”
“We had a Congress where the Democrats have absolutely stalled to do something, if it’s the crisis at the border. Even now, Democrats and the left say that we have a crisis on the border.”
Steube proposed by the house Democrats had the tire no interest in suit, the Problem head-on.

“I sit on the sub-Committee on immigration [the House Judiciary Committee] — you have done nothing, than it is to address this problem,” he said. “And we, as Republicans fight to do it. We have submitted invoices, but you will not want to leave something to the front.”
Passed to Fox News’ Leland Vittert out Steube challenged, to say the Republicans had a chance, immigration reform after the elections of 2016, when they had control of both congressional chambers and the White house.
“I was not in Congress when that happens, but I will tell you that the people in my district were upset that if the Republicans had the majority, they were not able to get that done, and I think-I’m sure going to fight to bring the majority back to Republicans in the house and if we do that, you will win the majority in the year 2020, you will see all of us focus on the immigration Problem,” he replied.
Vittert more Steube pressing questions of why the voters should follow trust Republicans, too, if you could not deliver on the immigration of the first time.

“I think you have a President who is very focused on this Problem,” he replied. “I wasn’t there, so I can’t speak of what he told congressional leaders, but… I came into the Congress with a very conservative class of leaders from across the country, and we all feel very strongly about this issue.”
Steube also Trump said the willingness to compromise with the Democrats gave him hope that Congress could pour the curbing of illegal immigrants across the border, and finally a permanent solution to the immigration crisis.

“The President is certainly willing to make a deal. With a view to the things he offered. I mean, he is ready to go, much further to go than the rather conservative members of the house are ready to make a deal. I think, with the president’s leadership on this, hopefully we can get something done,” he said.
“But, all the Democrats do is standstill and nothing to do on this question just now, while hundreds of thousands of people come every month illegal in our country.”
