It’s OK to go to a wedding, but when people start losing fingers, then it’s time to stop.

As a bride, the groom and the best man were said to have been arrested after a “disturbance” at the wedding reception, in Scotland, which allegedly included someone from biting off of a guest’s finger.

So, Claire and Eamonn Goodbrand spent their wedding night in jail.

The Scottish Sun says the incident occurred Sunday night at The Vu at Ballencrieff Toll, in Bathgate. Eamonn, the best man, Kieran Goodbrand, was taken into custody. Goodbrand, reportedly, suffered a head injury during the incident.

According to the outlet, both men were still wearing their clothes, shoes, under their prison uniforms on Tuesday, when she appeared in court, where they are neither man entered a plea. The trio were released on bail, subject to certain conditions, including, for the avoidance of contact with certain family members.

A spokesman for the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service confirmed to the Scottish Sun, the three suspects have been charged with assault to severe injury, permanent disfigurement and danger of life.

The trio is set to appear in court again later this week. The Scottish Sun reports that Eamonn is working as a professional boxer and fights competitively as a light middleweight.
