Host Ivo Niehe calls career so far with a foreword
Host Ivo Niehe has countless plans for his career. “I feel that it all only begins. That my career up until now is a preface.”
“No one believes me except the people in my area. Every day I think: I still have so many plans with which we started.”says the 71-year-old presenter Saturday against the AD.
He sees his work as a privilege. “André Rieu once said:” I’ve never had a holiday, because I have no work’… That applies to me. I’ve just come back from France. I’m sitting on a terrace again, thirty subjects from the international magazines to tear.”
Niehe has lately been working on the musical Drs. Down at the end of the month premiered at the DeLaMar Theatre in Amsterdam. Then, the piece is by the whole of the Netherlands.
He based the piece loosely on the life of the Spanish actor Pablo Pineda Ferrer, a man with down syndrome who have a university degree took.
