The Dutch women came after a small quarter on lagging behind by a goal, Silvina d’elia. They hit touch from a penalty corner.
Argentina could not long enjoy that advantage, because three minutes later drew Frederique Matla for the equalizer. Pien Sanders made shortly after peace from a penalty corner for the winning hit.
Rosario Luchetti seemed to balance after a few minutes to recover, but that goal was disallowed. The final stage was a goal of Caia van Maasakker also rejected.
