Historical EK-title Oranjevrouwen thanks to victory in Denmark

The Oranjevrouwen Sunday for the first time in the history of European champion. In the sizzling final in Enschede was Denmark with 4-2 records.

The netherlands was for the first time in the final of a final tournament. Previously it was the halvefinaleplaats at the european CHAMPIONSHIPS 2009 in Finland, the best performance of the football.

Germany has won the last six european CHAMPIONSHIPS, but was at this tournament in the quarterfinals eliminated by Denmark, which has never been a large title in the guard managed to drag.

Penalty kick

The contest drew 28.182 spectators, a record for a duel in the women’s football in the Netherlands. The previous record was Thursday established when there 27.093 people to the semi-final between the Netherlands and England (3-0) came.

Bad start
