Hillary Clinton warned house Democrats on Wednesday against immediate impeachment proceedings against President Trump will start after the release of the Special Counsel Robert Muller ‘ s report this month, urging the Democrats to expand their platforms to a “reasonable agenda” for the coming elections.

The former Secretary of state and 2016 Democratic candidates, called the ultimatum of the Democrats – “immediate removal from office or-nothing” – a “wrong choice” in an op-published ed in The Washington Post.

“The history suggests, there is a better way to think about the decisions that lie ahead of us.”

Clinton, whose husband President Bill Clinton, was accused, in the year 1998, called the issue “personal” and said that, while some might argue that it is “the right messenger,” your experience in politics has proven the opposite.

“From my point of view is not only that the former candidate and opponent of the Russian action. I am also a former senator and Secretary of state, served during much of the [Russian President] Vladimir Putin’s ascent, was sitting across the table from him and know first Hand that he is trying to weaken our country,” she wrote.

Clinton looked back on her time as “a young staff attorney” in 1974, the work on the House Judiciary Committee’s Watergate impeachment inquiry into President Richard Nixon.

Clinton said that Congress should not be quick to vote in the beginning of impeachment proceedings without the participation of the proper public hearings, the gaps to close, from the Müller report, something they blamed on attorney General Bill Barr’s redactions.

Clinton proposed the 1998 indictment of her husband as “a mistake,” and claimed that, if elected, today it would be “a mistake,” argues that the Republican-led house, “rushed judgment”.

She continued: “Whether you like it or not, the Republicans in the Congress of the Constitution, even a duty, to protect the country … It is up to the members of the two parties, where the “road-map” leading to the eventual filing of the indictment or not. One way or the other, the nation, the interests served by political parties and political considerations aside, and thoughtful, fair, and fearless.”

Clinton also called on the legislature to assess the national security threat faced by the US elections and advised not to build the Democrats, with a platform on impeachment alone, but rather the concentration on a “rational agenda” before the midterm elections.

“For today’s Democrats, it is not only possible to move forward on several fronts at the same time, it is important … It is important to remind the American people that the Democrats are in the solutions business and can walk and chew gum at the same time.”

Clinton the Miller report “warning of the future called” and said that, if treated carefully and correctly, the Russians would again interfere with and Trump “may show even more disregard for the laws of the land and the duties of his office.”
