Hilarious Cockatiel sings ‘pitch perfect’ Apple ringtone when the evil

An emotional cockatiel went viral Tuesday after his owner is a video of the singing bird, an Apple ringtone.

The video showed “Lucky” the cockatiel tweet is a perfect representation of Apple’s “Opening” of the ringtone. Ben Pluimer, the person who recorded the video, wrote in a caption on Vimeo, Happiness, sang with the ringing tone when he was angry.

“If Luck is upset, he sings a Apple ringtone,” Pluimer wrote. “This usually happens when they tie their shoes to get ready to leave the house. It is cute, and also pitch perfect.”

The video of Lucky’s melodic performances shot to the top of Reddit videos subreddit. The video has over 85,000 upvotes and more than 1900 comments from Tuesday.

Cockatiels are known for his vocal birds and can be taught to whistle tunes and say words, according to Parrotsecrets.com.

“Though not as proficient as their larger parrot cousins on mimicry, cockatiels — especially the men are very good at recognizing certain sounds and imitate them,” Susan Parretts wrote for the Nest. “After a while, it is possible that your tiel starts to sing along with the music, especially if you sing or whistle to him self. Not only will this allow you to interact with your feathered friend, but it can result in tiel, who enjoys singing all on his own.”
