Jorrit Hendrix has Monday his future linked to PSV. The 23-year-old has extended his until the summer of 2020 the current contract by one year to mid-2021.
“This will always remain special. I remember my first contract signed. Not only the feeling of a contract is nice, also the confidence the club this radiates does a lot. I hope here is still nice to achieve things,” he says on the website of the club.
Hendrix was in 2004 at the age of eight by PSV weggeplukt by the amateurs of SV panningen the netherlands and made on 10 August 2013 his debut in the first team in the league in his own home against NEC (5-0 victory).
The linksbenige inspector played so far 186 official matches for PSV. He made therein seven goals and provided also fifteen assists.
Hendrix won with PSV in the past few years, three league titles (in the seasons 2014/2015, 2015/2016 and 2017/2018) and two KNVB cups (2015 and 2016).

Hendrix came once for Dutch national team
Hendrix came yet one more times for the Dutch national team on 1 september 2016 in the practice game in the Amsterdam ArenA against Greece (1-2 defeat).
Hendrix also makes this season a good chance to win the title in the Eredivisie, as PSV goes halfway through the league cup with two points ahead of closest enemy Ajax.
The team of trainer Mark van Bommel is already disabled in the KNVB-cup (RKC Waalwijk) and in Europe (fourth in a group with FC Barcelona, Tottenham Hotspur and Internazionale in the Champions League).
PSV will resume next Sunday the Premier league with an away game against FC Emmen and in the weeks that followed, against FC Groningen and Fortuna Sittard (both at home).
