At the age of 45, Heidi Klum is not afraid to bare.

The German supermodel proudly posed topless for the 25th anniversary Swimsuit double issue of Ocean Drive Friday — the former Victoria’s Secret Angel insisted she’s incredibly comfortable with her genetically-blessed physique.

“I grew up in a very free environment with my parents,” she explained. “We’re going to the nudist beach. We are very open-minded, but you can’t say all Germans.

“We do not have much money, so we would go camping a lot and my parents naturist campsites, so nudity was normal for me. You stand out more if you have the cover-up. And I thought it was great.”

And while some expect that the mother of four to cover-up these days, Klum said she likes to embrace the aging process and is more interested in increasing the awareness on the body of positivity.

“I see it like this: We have but one life,” she said. “This is our life and our time and the time should not be after a certain age. There is no timetable for only the ability to wear a certain thing or to be in love, to go out.

“Thirty years old is not the cap and then you have to hide yourself and not go dancing more. I’m not saying that people should do what I’m doing, but I hope that I one day an old woman to look back and say: I have thoroughly enjoyed every phase of my life.”

However, Klum is not only to rely on genetically blessed. The cover girl said she was a no-nonsense approach to her health regime to maintain its sought after functions.

“Beauty is what you put into your body,” she said. “I do smoothies every morning with ginger, kiwi and berries. Ginger is so good for you. So is garlic I eat a ton. Sometimes I boil a whole bulb of garlic and a tea and drink it. It is spicy, so I put the honey in it to make it sweeter.”

Klum’s high-profile career keeps her constantly on the road, traveling across the country. But one place where they said that it best suits her personality happens here in America — Miami to be exact.

“People are not as shy with their bodies in Miami,” she explained. “You walk past the clubs and you still see men and women dancing with each other. It is not so that when you go to other places where everyone just stand and stare at each other with their cocktail in hand. Everyone is enjoying life and dancing.”

The “Project Runway” executive producer and judge is not to slow down any time soon. In fact, Klum has launched both a lingerie and swimwear collection, titled Heidi Klum Intimates and Heidi Klum Swim.

Klum said that it is her female fans that inspired her to work behind the scenes in the fashion world.

“There is not a huge choice for a curvier women in lingerie or swim, so I have a big focus on my lines going up from a D to G cup size,” she said. “Women who wear those sizes have been neglected by the industry, so I want to give them options.”

It may not be the last thing Klum, is in to diving. The star, who is already her trademark as a model, is eager to do the same as a businesswoman. And she is ready to her free-spirited energy to use.

“There are people who are waiting for the phone call, waiting for things to happen,” she said. “And then there are people who are dreamers and planners. That’s how I roll.”
