Heather Locklear in the hospital: Threatened to kill himself
Heather Locklear was reportedly in hospital on Sunday after she threatened to kill herself. The Ventura County Fire department responded to a call at her home, after a family member dialed 911, and the concern for the star’s safety.
Heather Locklear’s friends and family, “desperately” tried to help “Melrose Place” actress before she was Sunday in the hospital, when she allegedly threatened to kill himself, a report said.
A source told the People that Locklear, 56, was not getting the help they need to address “underlying problems of mental health.”
“[Heather] is clearly not the proper medical and psychological help they need,” says the source told People.
The source added, “They isolate themselves, which only feeds into the other things. Of course, you can’t force someone to get help — they do — but it is difficult for someone who is sick is to make smart choices and keep at it. She has family and friends who are desperately trying to help.”

The Ventura County Fire department was called to Locklear’s home on father’s day after a family member called 911 expressing concern for the actress of the safety of the TMZ reported. She was admitted to the hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.
According to dispatch audio obtained by the outlet, Locklear was looking for a gun, but “have no access to weapons.”

The source told the People Locklear parents and friends have tried to help the actress for a certain period of time.
“She really needs a good evaluation, other medication, and obviously more help than they get in order to truly determine what her psychological problems,” the source said, adding that it is “heartbreaking” for friends and family to see Locklear as this.
Locklear is having a tough year. In February, she was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and violence in three police officers.

She was accused of pushing and shouting at the deputies who were called that they was violent with her boyfriend, Chris Heisser, in the house. She was not charged with domestic violence, in spite of the reports of the Us Weekly that Heisser had visible injuries. Her attorney, however, entered the plea of not guilty to four felony counts of battery on an officer in April.
Locklear also struggled with alcohol and drug abuse in the past. She reportedly checked himself into a treatment facility in March to help with her addiction battle.
