CONCORD, N. H. – A New Hampshire judge has scheduled a hearing on a request for more information from a man accused by family members of killing his millionaire grandfather and possibly his mother.
Nathan Carman is a suspect in the 2013 shooting death of real estate developer John Chakalos in Connecticut. No one has been arrested. He is also a question asked about the day his boat sank and his mother, Linda Carman, on board in the near of Rhode Island in 2016. She is presumed dead.
Carman, who lives in Vermont, denies any involvement in both cases. His mother’s sisters called in New Hampshire accusing him of the murder Chakalos, and possibly his mother. They have asked a judge to block him from the collection of the inheritance money.
The April 3, to hear the sisters’ request for Carman to provide information about firearms, financial documents and other documents.
