Golfer Wil Besseling was there on Sunday and just not been able to get his first tournament on the European Tour to win. The Dutch had, at the Alfred Dunhill Championship in South Africa in a poor final lap and it ended up being shared with third parties.
Besseling was on Thursday, after the opening of the exhibition in the lead, and maintained it in the days that followed, at the top, allowing him to view the race. On the last hole and missed his chance with a bogey.
The victory went to Spain’s Pablo Larrazábal, who ended up on the 280 beats. In the second place, it was the Swede Joel Sjöholm (281), and the top three was rounded out by three golfers, including those who Besseling (282).
The tournament in South Africa, where, for the first time in its history in a pair of shorts, if the game was at the start of the new season on the European Tour. Lars van Meijel finished shared 24th, and the twenty-fourth day of Driel, on the third Dutch participant, cited earlier, of the cut don’t.
This season, with the debutants, Van Meijel, and Van Driel, and regular Joost Luiten for the first time in a few years, three are represented on the European Tour.
Luiten is currently resting, and did not, therefore, participate in the Alfred Dunhill Championship. Besseling is the only speelgerechtigd of the smaller tournaments on the European Tour, such as in South Africa.
