Hasselbaink is in Northampton Town new employer

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is the new coach of Northampton Town. The 45-year-old Dutchman has Monday a contract for three seasons, signed with the team that comes out on the third level in England.
The former striker of the Dutch national team was since his dismissal last season at Queens Park Rangers without the club. He was there in november the avenue from sent due to disappointing performance.
The 45-year-old Hasselbaink has been given the task to Northampton the save from relegation to League Two. The ‘Cobblers’ are currently bottom of League One.
According to chairman Kelvin Thomas is Hasselbaink the best candidate for the position. “He is an inspiring leader who already success on this level has to be known. After conversations with people with Jimmy have worked, we are convinced that he is someone that the potential of our team to the top.”
For Hasselbaink is his fourth club as head coach. He started his career at Royal Antwerp, after which he Burton Albion and QPR under his wing.
