Hans Klok is Tuesday, distinguished as an Officer in the Order of Orange-Nassau. The illusionist got the ribbon awarded by Elbert Rush, mayor of the municipality of Bloemendaal.
“I am incredibly proud of and had not expected”, tells Clock to NH News. “I am not at all prepared. It is a big surprise and I am very honored.” Bell received the award because of his volunteer work at charity and cultural contribution to the Netherlands.
Several well-known friends of the Clock were present at the ceremony, among whom Gerard Joling, Karin Bloemen and Jacques d’ancona.
The 49-year-old illusionist, who is now still in Bloemendaal lives, will receive the award shortly before his departure to Las Vegas. There will he from June 3, six days per week, to occur on the Strip. He will per day occur two times.
It is not the first time that Clock his luck to the test in the United States. In 2007, he was also already with a show in Las Vegas. He did this together with Pamela Anderson. The show was after a period of time, however, cancelled due to the high cost.
