‘Hackers may be behind power outage in Kiev
The authorities in Ukraine to investigate or a major power outage in Kiev is the result of a cyber attack. The north of the capital came on Sunday without electricity to sit when a relay station itself, suddenly stopped.
According to energy company Ukrenergo, there are only two possible explanations for the fault: the hardware let it down, or there is interference from outside. Technicians of the organization would have indications that there was a cyber attack.
Ukraine is more frequently the target of hackers. The websites of several ministries according to the authorities recently went black after cyber attacks. That were according to the departments referred to their work to interfere with it.
In previous cyber-attacks by the Ukrainian government with an accusing finger to Russia pointed out. The countries argue, inter alia, the Russian annexation of the Crimea and the interference of Moscow in the conflict in Eastern Ukraine.
