Los Angeles, california, USA – January 31, 2019 at the latest: the Los Angeles International Airport, Tom Bradley International Terminal. People are walking with luggage, check-in to a flight, to read the Departure Board.
Panic briefly seized with the Connector 6 of the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on Sunday night after a man allegedly made a mention of it, or the sight of a gun.
A witness said the man used the word “gun” in the airport terminal, allowing passengers to panic or have to flee the country. Others have suggested that the man was calling about a different person with a gun while running through the airport, KABC reported.

The witness also shared a photo of the officers responding to the scene, in the vicinity of the suspect.
“It seems that a guy named ‘pistol,’ and everybody started to panic and headed for the security doors which is a breech [sic],” wrote one witness. “I was about 20 feet away from the man, who was immediately taken up. If everything Is in order. I’ve never heard of a gun.”

And the staff said that the police had responded to the “disturbance” at around 8 a.m. PST, and placed the man into custody.
Both the police and the airport officials confirmed that the man did not have a weapon.
And the staff, said on Twitter that airport operations returned to normal shortly after the disturbance. No flights have been affected, the police added.
