‘Groenendijk follows Petrovic as coach of ADO Den Haag’
Alfons Groenendijk follows Zeljko Petrovic as coach of ADO Den Haag. The 52-year-old artist from leiden will most likely be Wednesday afternoon already presented in the Kyocera Stadium.
That tells Omroep West. In addition to Groenendijk extends ADO’s technical staff with Dirk Heesen, who as an assistant to the premiere league club.
Also Robert Maaskant was in the picture to fill the vacancy in The Hague to fill, but according to the regional broadcaster has the choice to Groenendijk in conjunction with Heesen cases because Martin Jol, who, on behalf of the HFC (cultuurbewakers, ed.) in the Board of directors, is pleased with the duo.
Groenendijk left last summer after one season as hotel manager at the Excelsior, and was sitting since then without club. He had earlier also Willem II, FC Den Bosch and Jong Ajax under his wing.
Both Groenendijk as Heesen is not unknown in The Hague. Groenendijk played from 1982 to 1987 for ADO, while Heesen 1992 to 1998, the shirt of the residentieclub wore.
