Grandmother, 73, shows off 55-pound weight loss, claims of young men and women constantly compliment her

John MacDonald shows off her toned figure in a decision in 2017 to turn her life around and take control of her weight.

As a grandmother, showing off her ravaged body after losing 55 pounds, and that she was just using her iPhone.

John MacDonald, 73, from the province of Ontario, Canada, and had its weight in the peak at 198 pounds and a size 22, after the turning of the food during a difficult time in her marriage.

So, frustrated by its own weight, causing them to struggle walking up the stairs after a knee replacement, MacDonald turned to face her daughter, who taught her how to use an iPhone to track her workouts and food, the Daily Mail reports.

In January of 2017, when the High started to work out at the gym four times a week, doing cardio, and it radicalized her diet and focusing on whole foods, such as vegetables and meats instead of sweets and high calorie bagels, they are used to eating at regular times.

“I was on a meal plan, which is set up by [the daughter] Michelle (with an ‘X’ number of calories, mainly protein, carbohydrates and good fats, and the weight and inches came down, my food intake went down,” she told the Daily Mail.

Within a year, MacDonald was looking at her weight to 141 pounds and her dress size is down to a healthy 16.

“This is a fitness journey that will no doubt improve the quality of my life, as I get deeper into old age. I am very grateful for that,” she said.

“I feel a lot better about myself now, and getting compliments from the young men and women to make sure that it enhances the sense of self-worth.

“My husband started to talk about how good I looked in it, and my family, we are so very proud of my efforts,” she added.

But to get the compliments of others, including a lot of young men, it was not the greatest victory in the MacDonald’s weight-loss journey. She was able to get off all of her medications, which are used for high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and acid reflux, among other conditions.

Even though MacDonald has touched a lot of healthy weight for a woman her age, she’s not going to slow down and even documents, its a journey through an Instagram account for her daughter and setting her on the Train With John.

Joan said she has struggled with her weight in the past, but, generally, continued to be active in a tough spot in her marriage, it was her turn to food for comfort.

“I’ve had a much easier time staying away from junk or fast food, food, and exercise, I will hold on to it, because there is always room for change and improvement,” she told the Daily Mail.

“People are very, very happy and surprised to see that I’ve kept for this long, and I am still changing; I have more muscle definition now than it did when I first lost the weight.”

But she does have advice for others looking to shed weight, which will be discussed in the social media is that it’s a struggle to keep up with her healthy lifestyle, and over again.

“For those of you who really feel at a loss, and what I would say is change one thing with your food intake and exercise in order to do so, and each and every week, add something new,” she said. “Don’t expect miracles right away, just take it slow and steady, but the work will continue.”
