New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s Challenger agreed to debate, actress-turned-activist Cynthia Nixon, his Democratic primary.
In a stunning move, Gov. Andrew Cuomo agreed to debate Democrat challenger Cynthia Nixon on Monday to vote after months of pressing the incumbent, a face-off.
The forum is for Aug. 29 at Hofstra U. and will air live on WCBS-TV and other CBS stations around the state, according to the Cuomo-controlled state the social-democratic party.
The Nixon campaign, the rules are quickly ready to debate, although it said it had no role in the negotiation of the debate.

“Cynthia, the debate Governor Cuomo is backwards and in high heels, if you must,” said a top Nixon strategist Rebecca Katz.
