GoPro unveils foldable drone, and new action camera’s
GoPro has Sunday, the first of its own drone revealed. Karma is a small foldable drone with four propellers and a connection with the stabilizer for GoPro-action camera’s.
The drone is controlled with a controller that looks like a gamepad, writes Engadget. The controller also has a screen on which the user can see what is being filmed.
Also is the arm with which the camera is mounted removable, so that the hand can be filmed. By the stabilizer movements are smoother.
GoPro unveiled three new versions in the actiecameraserie Hero. The Hero5 Black has a touch-screen of 2 inches, takes photos with 12 megapixel and has a built-in GPS receiver.
The camera is also waterproof up to 10 metres deep, shoot videos at a quality of 4K at 30 fps and can with voice commands can be operated.
The Hero5 Session can also be 4K video recording and takes photos than a 10 megapixel. But the device has no screen, GPS, or support for saving RAW material.
The entry-level Hero Session makes 8-megapixelfoto and shoot videos at 1440p. Also that video camera is waterproof up to 10 metres deep.
The new cameras come on the 2nd of October. The Hero5 Black cost 429,99 euro. The Hero5 Sessions is 329,99 euro and the Hero Session has a price of 229,99 euros.
The drone Karma is from the 23rd of October in the Netherlands available for 869,99 euro, without a camera.
