As activists around the world protest for global climate change in the week, all coinciding with the U. N. Climate Action Summit, a GOP senator announced on Monday he is: “climate-hypocrite award”awarded.
Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla., who once threw a snowball on the Senate, in an effort to challenge climate change theory, he said, to give the five awards in total, each day of the week, with Penn State professor and environmental activist, Michael Mann, honored as the first.
“To kick-off the Global climate week, it seems the most suitable, to recognize, to believe first, Michael Mann, the architect of the discredited ‘Hockey Stick’ graph that says to the people, the science, but was implicated in the Manipulation of data in Climategate, and refuses to back up the data, his graph” Inhofe said on his website.

“Climategate” refers to a 2009 scandal in which emails between Mann and other scientists had expired. They apparently discussed deletion of data and the hiding of data that did not support the conclusion that climate change is a potentially catastrophic Problem.
Mann’s famous hockey-stick graph shows the correlation between global temperatures and the amount of carbon dioxide – a greenhouse gas that keeps the earth’s heat rather than escape into space – in the atmosphere over time. The graph has its name from the shape created, such as temperature and carbon dioxide rise significantly, the beginning of the industrial revolution, when people began to fossil fuels for electricity generation, transportation, and other purposes.

While Inhofe, the author of the 2012 book with the title “The Greatest Hoax: How the global warming conspiracy Threatens your future,” denies human activity is causing potentially catastrophic changes in the climate of the earth, the theory has gained wide acceptance, even in some of Inhofe’s own party.
Fire brand conservative Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., a “Green Real Deal-published” plan earlier this year, in response to progressive Democrats’ “Green New Deal.”
“Global warming is real, humans contribute, and it has real impact on how to operate the military, now and in the future,” he said in an April release of his plan, which leans on the open market to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. “That’s the reason why I the Green have introduced the Real Deal this Congress.”
In the year 2018, the U. N. Climate Change Annual Report predicts an increase in global temperatures three to five degrees Celsius by the year 2100, if current trends continue. The report continues to prevent the the objective of limiting the temperature rise to 1.5 degrees Celsius, more drastic consequences, warns, however, to reach the window, that this target is in the vicinity, up to the year 2030.

Man its hockey-stick graph in the past has defended, relying on other scientists who, he says, confirmed his data and conclusions.
