Golden Russian bobsleeër four years suspended due to doping
The now stopped bobsleeër Dmitry Trunenkov is for a four-year suspended because he was caught on doping. The 32-year-old Russian won at the Olympic Winter games of Sochi in 2014 as inhibitor of gold in the four-man bobsled.
The Russian antidopingbureau RUSADA makes Tuesday is not known at what forbidden means Trunenkov last year is caught.
His suspension is retroactive to april 19, 2016. Four months after that date stopped Trunenkov with bobsledding to focus on his work for the Russian army.
The inhibitor won his olympic gold medal not to deliver. He was in Sochi in the four-man bobsled of helmsman Alexander Zubkov, currently the president of the Russian bobsleebond.
“We are very disappointed”, responded Zubkov against the Russian news agency Tass. “We are going to see how this could have happened.”
The wereldantidopingbureau WADA presented last year, two reports on a large, state supported doping system in Russia in the run-up to and during the Games in Sochi. The suspension of Trunenkov is separate from those studies.
