Golden Globe-winner John Hurt died
Actor John Hurt is Friday, died at the age of 77.

Hurt was known for his roles in The Elephant Man, the Harry Potter movies and The Midnight Express, for which latter role he won a Golden Globe.
The British actor received in 2015 to hear that he has pancreatic cancer but had later said that he fully recovered from the disease.
In his film career, which extended over six decades, he has twice been nominated for an Oscar. For his role in The Midnight Express (1978) and The Elephant Man (1980). In addition to a Golden Globe award he also won several BAFTA Awards, including a prize for his entire ouvre.
Hurt played in Alien, V for Vendetta, and took on the role of Olivander in the Harry Potter series. In 2015, he was knighted by the queen.
