Goalkeeper Bijlow (19) replaces the injured Jones in the basis Feyenoord
Feyenoord starts Sunday without Brad Jones to the first league game of the season against FC Twente. The 35-year-old goalkeeper is not fit enough and is in The Cockpit replaced by the 19-year-old Justin Bijlow.
Jones is struggling since Tuesday with back pain. The Australian seemed at first to be fit enough to come in action against Twente, but missed the last training and is not recovered enough for a spot in the selection.
By the heavy injury of Kenneth Vermeer, by a tendon injury in his hand months off, defends Bijlow the purpose of the Team. For the 19-year-old keeper, it is his official debut for the reigning champion. The also 19-year-old Ramon ten Hove sits as the second goalkeeper on the bench.

FC Twente begins without addition of Tom Boere against Feyenoord. The striker, who last season on behalf of FC Oss with 33 hits to top scorer crowned in the Jupiler League, sitting on the couch. Also Ousamma Assaidi is not on the kick-off.
