Glennis Grace thinks that the argument with an irate motorist, that a conversation between her and the Amsterdam stadszender AT5 in 2011 disrupted, was planned.
“I think the real”, says Grace at NU.nl.
“AT5 was really bad back then. I wanted that interview is actually not already doing so, but I knew Frank Awick (former interviewer from AT5, ed.) for a very long time. I found him quite annoying, but it was also a kind of love-hate relationship.”
The interview in the conscious fragment takes place in the Jordaan in Amsterdam, where Grace was born and grew up. During the call, are Grace and Awick on a relatively busy street.
A passing motorist that the angle wants to drive increases, according to the singer, not enough distance, that they him for “klerelijer” part. The driver get then out and threatens Grace to abuse. The confrontation ends after a solid argument.
“It was all to happen. As I look back, I think: they knew just how I would respond,” says Grace.
NU.nl is still awaiting a response from AT5.
