Glenn Close is, don’t expect anyone to ask her for advice about how to play a Disney villainess Cruella de Vil, and she’s OK with that.
The 72-year-old seven-time Oscar-nominated actress spoke to Us Weekly on Monday, and said she was not surprised by Emma Stone, 30, has not yet been reached for the landing of a role in “Cruella.”

“Not at all. She has two more films to look at,” the Close said outlet to the Lens of The The Chanel Women’s Filmmaker Program, a Lunch in New York City.

Close, who played de in a Dalmatian’s fur, loving the House of the Devil fashion, the owner in 1996’s live-action adaptation of the “101 Dalmatians” in 1996 and the 2000 sequel, “102 Dalmatians,” and said that she is not upset about the lack of communication, because it makes them feel like her portrayal of Cruella has run its course and now it’s time for a new generation.

“I can’t wait to see what she was doing,” she said, Close it. “My Cruella was in, and we’ll see something new.”

The stone gave Disney fans a sneak peek at her appearance in the new age Cruella de Vil at the D23 Expo, a fan event in August. They also revealed that the film, billed as a prequel to “the 101 Dalmatians”, is set during the punk rock era of the 1970’s.
In the teaser, Stone draws out Cruella de Vil is identified by a two-tone black and white hair with a three of her own-spotted Dalmatians in tow.
