Give your worn clothing a second life on the stage of hetpaleis

Reuse, lend, sell, recycle: all options for worn, discarded clothing, not to waste it. So think also costume designer Lies Van Assche and hetpaleis about it. For theatercostumes they therefore look for second hand clothing.

Imagine that your hand-me-downs come back to life on the theaterplanken. For the production of King Lear will be Lies, Van Assche, the costume designer behind the social innovation textielproject ‘CLOTH’, together with her kostuumteam getting started with the donated clothing.

King Lear, Oswald, Cordelia and Regan will be the stage for entering into creations of your old jeans, sweaters, dresses, and so on. Upcyclen with a dramatic edge.

Apply between August 15 and september 15, you clean washed clothes were in het paleis or het Zuidelijk Toneel. Mention your name, email address and phone number clearly. In return for your donation you get a ticket for the avant-première of King Lear.
