Giuliani says FBI agents interviewed him on behalf of the DOJ watchdog

Rudy Giuliani told Fox News on Tuesday that he was interviewed earlier this year by FBI agents with the Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz.

These agents were supposed to be looking for information about a comment the former mayor of NYC, which is indicated by the end of 2016 presidential campaign, that “a surprise”.

The interview took place in Giuliani’s law firm on Feb. 28, and Giuliani said he told the officials that his comments were on a draft of a speech he had written for the then-candidate Donald Trump described as “Reagan-esque” – style document, the he trump proposed to make the Friday before election day.

The speech was never delivered, however, and was broadcast instead of four Spots, that in some of the battleground States, he said.

Giuliani said he shared a copy of the generated language, as well as an E-Mail exchange he had agents with Jared Kushner in relation to it, with the FBI. Kushner, Trump-daughter Ivanka is married and currently serves as an Advisor to the President.

The interview took place in front of Giuliani’s accession to President of the Trump legal team in April 2018.



What did Giuliani know about the Clinton E-Mail probe?

Word of Giuliani’s interview came after Horowitz, who was on Capitol Hill on Monday, out of the question for Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif provided by sen., who can forget Giuliani’s comment about an upcoming “surprise”, and noted that the former FBI-Director James Comey announced the re-opening of the Hillary Clinton investigation days later.

Feinstein said that in early November of 2016, when you will be asked Giuliani said he’d heard the news and expects to be the weeks before. She asked Horowitz if his team found out how Giuliani “to get this information.” Horowitz said he could not comment, but later, that he did not think that “disclosures of this type are suitable to each stage in a criminal investigation.”

Giuliani appeared on Fox Business’ “Morning, Mary,” on Tuesday and confirmed that he “has been interviewed by the FBI on behalf of Mr. Horowitz.” He added that he “had never leaked information of an FBI agent.”

“I have not spoken to an on-duty FBI agent, except for background checks, in a few years. That information, he said, came from the retired FBI agents who were to speculate about what was going on, to go further. We knew it would blow up,” Giuliani said. “What I was talking about, in terms of surprise was a speech that we prepared for the President to give, on the Friday before the election, like Ronald Reagan, we would probably buy them the day before, to go on national television and we went to beat Hillary on all this stuff. I was just as surprised as everyone else. The FBI is investigating it, closed it, and I showed them the proof of what I say.”


Giuliani criticized surveys, teases ‘big’ campaign surprises


Giuliani made the “surprise”, commented on, while on “Fox & Friends”. Oct. 25, 2016, about two weeks before the day of the election, when asked whether trump was planning anything other than rallies in front of the voters went to the polls.

He answered, “Yes”, before adding that they had left “a few surprises.”

He said they were “surprises in the way that we are going to be the campaign, our message, the it. Maybe in a slightly different way. And you’ll see, and I think it is enormously effective.”

He followed the comments on Fox News’ “America’s Newsroom” to say that it is “one or the other surprise that you add to hear about in the next few days,” the that it is a “pretty big surprise.”
