Madison received a letter from the Royal Mail assures her that the Christmas note to her father who is in heaven were delivered safely.
A little girl who wrote a letter to her father “in heaven” and asks him to come home for Christmas has received a heart-warming answers thanks to the care of Royal Mail staff.
Madison Danter, 6, received the letter that said that her note was delivered safely to her father, Thomas Danter, despite the fact that it is “a difficult journey.”
Her father, Thomas, 40, died two years ago after he had surgery for a fifth heart valve replacement operation. He left five children; Lewis, 23; Chloe, 18; Thomas, 16; James, 13, and Madison.

Their uncle Shane Danter, 49, said Madison only wish this Christmas was for her father to come home from heaven.
“The letter meant so much to Madison, this particular Royal Mail employee has gone above and beyond the call of duty,” Shane Danter, a cleaning company boss said. “What a wonderful thing for a complete stranger. We arranged for santa claus and his elves at Whitehall garden centre to give her a special message in a bottle from her father.”
Madison’s father, Thomas, died two years ago leaving his five children to detect.
That night, after receiving the message from her father, Madison was sitting on her own in her room and wrote a reply.

“It was so sad,” her uncle said. “They asked me how we could send her the answer to her daddy and I told her that we would leave it off at night and let the magic of Christmas do its thing.”
The next day, Danter shot the letter to his brother in the sky, in the e-mail.
The response assured Madison that her letter had managed to avoid the stars and the other “celestial objects” on the road to heaven.
Two days later, a letter fell on Madison doormat of a delivery office manager at the post office.
Addressed to Madison personally, and sent to her home in Wotton-under-edge, Gloucestershire, the letter explains that the post had delivered the letter to her father in heaven.

“Although we deliver the christmas cards, we have become aware of a very special letter from yourself,” the letter said. “So I wanted to use this opportunity to contact with you about how we have succeeded in the delivery of your letter to your father in heaven. This was a difficult challenge is avoiding the stars and other celestial objects on the route. But be assured that this important item is delivered safely. Royal Mail’s priority is to provide our customers with e-mail delivered and we know how important your e-mail is to you. We will continue to do what we can to ensure delivery to the sky safely. Hope you have a great Christmas.”
Madison will spend Tuesday with her mother and brothers and sisters on a visit to her father’s grave for Christmas dinner.
“The older she gets, the more she questions why her father is not here,” Danter said of his niece. “But this really has made dealing with the loss of a lot more bearable. The fact that someone took the time to create a very special girl for an answer that has given her a reason to smile, and the only comfort. Thank you Royal Mail!”
