Girl Scouts looking for cookie seller outside the pot shop

SAN DIEGO – The San Diego Girl Scout council says it is looking for or one of its troops photographed selling cookies outside a marijuana dispensary broke all the rules.

Spokeswoman Mary Doyle said the unknown girl scout was in a commercial area, is not allowed.

The owner of Urbn Sheet says the girl and her parents were just passing by her car.

Will Senn says his company posted a photo of the girl on her Instagram account and invited customers to buy from her because he likes to support local fundraising.

The photo drew praise and criticism. Some objection to a child being photographed outside a pharmacy.

Senn says marijuana is medicine and not, like alcohol.

His company wants to talk with the council.

Senn has worked to de-stigmatize the industry.
