Investigators are trying to piece together the events that led to the deaths of three people, plus the gunman, a popular food festival, Jeff Paul reports from Gilroy, California, usa.

CALIFORNIA POLICE CARRY OUT SEARCH WARRANT AT THE GILROY GARLIC FESTIVAL IN SHOOTER’S HOME
Gilroy police chief Scot Smithee said at a news conference on Tuesday that the Legan — who killed the police soon after, he opened fire, killing two children and a husband, it turned out that he was acting alone during his shooting spree. A search of his vehicle yielded a shotgun and a bag of ammunition into a creek in the vicinity of the festival grounds, Smithee said.
In Legan, Nevada apartment, the police found a bullet-proof vest, an empty shotgun and rifle boxes, and an air-supplied respirator, empty ammo boxes, hard disk drives, and other electronic devices.

WITNESSES RECALL CHAOTIC SCENE AS THE SHOTS RANG OUT

A law enforcement official told The Associated Press that investigators believe the shooter used a WASR-10 which is a Romanian variant of the AK-47 and sold it for about $700 at Big Mike’s Guns and Ammo in las vegas, las vegas, Nevada, where he picked up the gun.
The shooting killed 6-year-old Stephen Romero, the 13-year-old Keyla Salazar and Trevor Irby, a 25-year-old college graduate from upstate New York. Eight people remained in hospital, KTVU in San Francisco reported Tuesday.
The gun shop, said on his Facebook page that he was hoping to Legan cliff “in hell”.
“The shooter is in a hotel, and I hope you rot in hell,” the post states. “We are praying for the victims. My heart aches for all of them.”

Investigators said Tuesday that Legan had recently been living in Gilroy, California, and Walker Lake, Nevada, a few miles north of Hawthorne. The FBI was the need to submit photos and videos taken during the event and on the website to help paint a “bigger picture” of what is happening.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom, visited some of the victims and their families. He was damned if he was convicted, what he said was the refusal of the federal lawmakers to make high-energy, high-capacity weapons, which are more tightly restricted in the country.
