Tim Gilissen is the new technical manager of Heracles Almelo. He follows as at 1 april the FC Groningen departing Mark-Jan Fledderus in the Polman Stadium.
“It is a beautiful challenge and a contribution to make to the technical plan, and the sporting objectives of Heracles. I am under the impression of the chosen approach of the club”, says Gilissen.
“From the board and management, I feel the confidence to meet this challenge. Moreover, it is Heracles a stable club where I myself well remember to be able to develop. I am proud that I was in this beautiful role as a technical manager may return.”
General manager Rob Toussaint is happy with the arrival of Gilissen and expects a lot from his period with the current number six of the Premier league.
“The appointment of Tim fits well within the vision of the club. Tim is a passionate and hardworking professional who Heracles Almelo. He has experience as manager of youth and has, in that capacity, eye for talent and development,” he says.
