Fans are shocked and afraid of Gigi Hadid’s latest cover for the annual Love Magazine spread.
of a successful supermodel is the ability to transform yourself into something your job requires — even if it’s a very freaky rabbit.
To celebrate its 10-year anniversary and 20th issue, Love magazine released a series of September covers, including a nightmare shot of Gigi Hadid that caused quite a stir on the social media.
In the image, the 23-year-old model wears a demonic “Donnie Darko”-style bunny mask, while grabbing a small, white dog.
Fans are not feeling Hadid’s “haunted her” aesthetic. “I love my queen, but this is a no no’, a commentary on the magazine’s Instagram photo of Hadid. Another joked, “I’ll call PETA!”
“Hang on. Is this dog? Looks hugely uncomfortable you lot of horrible folk,” another Instagram user chimed in.
This special 10th anniversary issue of the magazine also features Kendall Jenner and a photo of Gigi Hadid without the animal mask.
But others embraced the supermodel’s creepy side, including this commenter: “Fabulous terrible, I think I’ve seen in my nightmares.”
Love magazine also shared a second, less frightening cover with a soft-lit photo of the model wearing a pair of $262 Fleet Ilya leather bunny ears.
If that “Darko” remake ever comes to fruition, Hadid is a shoo-in for the role of Frank the Rabbit.
