German troops to stay longer in Mali
German military trainers will stay for sure until may of next year active in Mali. The German government decided Wednesday, the mission in the African country to renew.
It comes to about 140 soldiers that, until now, an estimated ten thousand Malian colleagues have trained. The German parliament should the government still enforce.
The netherlands is since 2014 part of the UN mission in Mali. Recently, the contribution extended to the end of this year. There are approximately 290 Dutch active for the mission. They are mainly concerned with the collection and analysis of information.
